I had a stroke a year ago where I had right sided paralysis and spent three days in the hospital. My paralysis went away but then I had heart surgery a week later. Depression got the best of me and there were moments when I wished my soul never existed.
Now a year later I’ve decided it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I’m able to walk and talk and dance today. I’m able to think for myself.
People have one stroke and it leaves them in a vegetative state or worse: dead. I’m not sure why I have this amazing opportunity of life but I will spend every day trying to figure it out. We are going to start by supporting women. Here are some amazing women. I would love to hear your story too!
